This project is a study of the impact that the unnatural diversion of the Colorado River has had on the ecology of its delta and the Gulf of California. This project seeks to study the distant past and recent history of the region, analyzing the current situations by its ecological and financial impact, and the observation of the currently successful restoration projects. This project aims to provide a better understanding of the issues involved and hopefully lend ideas to the problems that occur when trying to balance the needs of people with the resulting impact on nature.
