Assessing renewable resources -- solar energy at Janssen-Ortho LLC
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis project was performed in Gurabo, Puerto Rico at Janssen Ortho LLC, part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies. The WPI project team researched solar energy technologies and provided Janssen with a recommendation regarding the feasibility of these technologies. The recommendation was separated into a pilot phase solar plan as well as a full site installation plan. We evaluated site-wide energy use, researched case studies of previously implemented systems, analyzed feasible panel locations, provided Janssen with cost analysis, and created an informative community brochure. Recommendations were made concerning the possibility of solar technology being used at their company
