This report explores the effectiveness of the current practices used to market the Worcester Centrum's Convention Center. The research includes an investigation of the advantages and disadvantages of the current plan, an analysis of marketing at similarly outfitted centers, and identification of new regional convention markets. It presents a comparative analysis to the sponsor, The Worcester Marketing Department, of the current marketing literature, recommends changes to current marketing practices, discusses Worcester's limitations as a host city, and explores possible scenarios for future convention marketing at the Centrum.
