PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis report was prepared for Ready Mix Concrete, Inc. of Puerto Rico in order to examine the environmental and economic consequences of current methods used to deal with returned plastic concrete and truck washout water. Several options for the reuse of concrete include admixture stabilization, production of pre-cast blocks, and the use of reclaiming units. The implementation of a recycling program that utilizes such methods can yield substantial environmental and financial benefits for both the company and the community.
