Abstract
This report, prepared for the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), contains a detailed analysis of the three indices resulting from the head impact tests employed by CPSC. The analysis was conducted to identify the advantages and disadvantages of the current indices and to provide recommendations for future developments. The project involved researching literature, interviewing experts, and analyzing mathematical equations. We suggested improvements for the testing indices based on our analysis of the existing expressions.
