Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour is internationally renowned. Unfortunately, only isolated portions are accessible and inviting. We walked the waterfront's 100-kilometer length, surveying and analyzing activity, access, and infrastructure. We found that its poor quality, lack of easy routes to follow, and absence of diverse activities prevented Victoria Harbour from becoming a more popular destination. This report provides new data concerning the harbour's accessibility and vibrancy, along with recommendations on potential improvements from an outsider's point of view.
