open in viewerThis study follows the relative performance of 4 types of learners (based on MBTI data) through 16 critical freshman classes taken by the WPI Class of 2002 in 1998-99. One goal was to see if the courses are consistently biased in favor or against any of the types of learners. Another was to see if "Lead Indicators" that are predictive of course outcomes work equally well for the different types of learners. The top performing students in about half of the courses were the same type. However, each type had the highest average in at least one course. Acceptable lead indicators were found.
