Abstract

This study's main goals are to replicate the main MBTI-SAT relationship found in Worcester with new data from Fitchburg High School, and extend the analysis of score differentials by learning style to the ACT. The study was done in cooperation of the Worcester Public School system, Fitchburg High School, Leicester High School and Westborough High School. The analysis focuses on the best part of the ACT data set -- 270 students from the class of 1999 and 2000 at Fitchburg High School who had taken the Plan ACT and were administered the MBTI. Fitchburg is an ACT Test Center and administers the 10th grade Plan ACT to all high school students. Many of these students later take the PSAT, SAT, or the ACT at their own expense.
