To assist in the elimination of current inadequacies of educational opportunity for the handicapped in Thailand, a basic education program was designed based upon the needs of the community. The implementation of the educational program framework equips the disabled residents in the Klong Toey slum with the necessary educational background to compete in Thailand's job market. Addressing all facets in the acquisition of employment, this project provides a system that serves as a procedural outline to achieve economic independence for handicapped individuals.
