Worcester Polytechnic Institute is commencing use of Access Grid (AG) technology. New technology predicates acceptance and adaptation as quintessential to maximizing benefits. Meeting structures that the WPI community will employ were identified through interviews with community members. Human factors research affecting each meeting type yielded a specific set of human factors per meeting structure. AG specific human factors as well as methods of bypassing the factors were identified through interviews with AG users. The meeting-specific human factors and recommendations were incorporated into a manual; which will be submitted to the AG Documentation Project.
