Developing Comprehensive Recommendations for Friendly House to Improve Thermal Comfort and Increase Energy Efficiency

Friendly House seeks to improve the thermal comfort of its 87 Elm Street facility while reducing total energy costs. We conducted an energy evaluation of the facility, determined current conditions, and then provided recommendations on how to improve the building's thermal comfort. Through our research on the building's current conditions, available technology, and the function of the house we prioritized four "packages" based on cost and comfort that would meet their needs.
