Peter McDonald, Croydon Council
In an effort to reduce carbon emissions and alleviate parking and traffic problems, the Croydon Council began work with Worcester Polytechnic Institute to develop a comprehensive car club strategy for the Borough. The team generated recommendations for new car club bays and electric vehicle charge point locations, and created a marketing strategy that included numerous promotional materials for car clubs. The materials and recommendations were given to the Croydon Council to help in their effort to promote and expand the use of car clubs in the Borough.
