While Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has continuously expanded and promoted its LGBTQ+ programming and student resources, students who identify within the queer community at WPI are unaware of the majority of resources available to them (Sanchez, 2018). This IQP proposes programming that would be able to effectively inform prospective students about all LGBTQ+ resources available to them from WPI prior to their enrollment. Through an online survey distributed to current student members of LGBTQ+ advocacy groups at WPI (The Alliance and The Gender Equality Club), quantitative and qualitative data about the LGBTQ+ student experience at WPI were analysed and used to develop the program.
