Thermal Response Modeling of Fusible Links in Wildfire Conditions
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerA thermal response model was developed for fusible link activation in wildfire conditions. Heat transfer parameters for this model were determined through experimental testing. Fusible links were tested in laboratory simulated wildfire conditions at the CSIRO Bushfire Research Laboratory in order to validate the developed model. This model was used to determine the potential use of fusible links for automatic actuation of wildfire doors and shutters.
