Abstract
Project Squirrel has built upon past ideas to create a tree climbing robot and much of its design has been inspired by the successes and failures of other robots. Background research in other projects and solutions has aided in steering the direction of project design. As a result of extensive research, testing, and manufacturing, team has successfully been able to design and build a robot both mechanically and electrically from the ground up.
