Radar Hand-Held Transceiver Tester (HATT)
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThe designing, building, and testing of the Hand-held Transceiver Tester (HATT) provides a simple unit to perform the test without any additional equipment or technical expertise. The HATT’s operation involves clear feedback and minimal input from the technician. A full prototype was developed for the Ku-band to meet the requirements given by the sponsors within the cost restraints ($5,000). Documents were provided to construct additional units including variations of the built prototype as X, Ku, and dual band designs.
