The first goal of our project was to create a community page within Cisco WebEx Social for the Defined Contributions department of Putnam Investments. We completed the construction of the page, guided by research on social intranets and WebEx Social as well as individual and group meetings with employees within the DC department. The second goal of the project is to compile a set of recommendations to improve the Putnam corporate intranet. We provided a variety of recommendations on how to move forward with the corporate intranet project by gathering data from case studies as well as individual and group meetings.
