The goal of this project is to reduce the occurrence of non-contact ACL injuries. Through our literature review, we discovered the causes and impacts of this far-reaching problem as well as the solutions currently in place. To solve this problem, we utilized axiomatic design principles to generate the best solution. Through this approach, we developed a shoe that can absorb injurious loads before they reach the knee and damage the ACL, thereby reducing the occurrence of ACL injuries.
