The objective of this research was to evaluate the commercial pathway of emerging cardiac patch technology. The current market would benefit from a cardiac patch that promotes regeneration of myocardial tissue with tunable properties. Methods used included performing external research on the biomedical device market and conducting interviews with industry professionals. The information gathered shows the value proposition of said technology. The results allowed the team to recommend the best commercial pathway for the cardiac patch at this stage of development.
