Abstract

The team implemented lean process improvement techniques in order to create recommendations for the nuclear medicine, transportation, and pharmacy departments at St.Vincent's Hospital in Worcester, MA. The techniques use d were process mapping, root cause analysis, and data analysis. The goal was to improve quality and processes, in conjunction with the staff and our sponsor in each department. We propose the implementation of our recommendations to create savings of both time and money for the departments
