Through extensive testing, control scheme development, and mathematical modeling, this project has taken the first steps in automating a miniature helicopter. This report contains the completed controls and equations of motion, as well as the steps taken to create a sensor-driven board used to control the helicopter. The control board with the completed control scheme, which allows for the autonomous flight of a remote control helicopter to a pre-selected position, remains only to be installed onto the helicopter itself.
