Abstract

We confirmed the presence of suspected acetylcholine receptors in the neuromuscular junctions of the horseshoe crab (Limulus polyphemus) via immunohistochemistry and in vivo injection. Immunoelectron microscopy is ongoing but has not yielded confirmatory results yet.
