Audio software has streamlined the process of recording audio. It allows expanded flexibility in recording compared to hardware based equipment. The drawback to audio software is the interface. For many in the audio field, the feel of faders on a mixing board is too familiar to give up in the name of flexibility. This project is aimed creating a device that replicates the look and feel of a typical audio console, while controlling audio software on a PC.
