Abstract
Completed at Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Lincoln Laboratory, this third generation project focused on space wargaming, a concern to national security. Application-level software necessary for simulating an exercise was developed using the Tested ReUsable Space Toolbox (TRUST) -- a Java-based library for Space Situation Awareness. Optimization algorithms auto-generate counter-strategies, while an event-driven engine executes tactical maneuvers. A Client/Server architecture provides the infrastructure to conduct training exercises in a distributed environment. The resulting simulation can be analyzed using commercially available visualization software.
