Hobey, William D.
In the laboratories of Dr. Burstein and Dr. Zurier, I studied the effects of C. sativa extracts and endocannabinoids on the proliferation of human synovial fluid fibroblasts and fetal human lung fibroblasts. The goal is to identify compounds that inhibit cell proliferation. Such compounds could have potential anti-inflammatory effects and operate in the same pathways as the known C. Sativa derived anti-inflammatory agent Ajulemic Acid.
