PDA software for DSP-based crypto co-processor
Internet access through Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) is gaining immense popularity. However, wireless connections are relatively insecure. A DSP-based crypto co-processor for PDA is the solution we identified for doing computationally intensive cryptography on computationally weak PDA processors. This project describes the software aspect of the entire solution. A Palm OS application is built for the user interface on the Handspring Visor and communication with the additional hardware through the Springboard Expansion Slot.
