A guide to building or renovating to passive home standards, specifically designed for the constraints of the New England environment. This guide is intended to be accessible to even the novice builder and will inform all major topics of passive home design and construction. This discussion is separated into six major categories which illuminate everything from foundations to roof design and all pertinent components in between. Also included at the end of this guide is a green Products, installation, and manufacturing list. This is a guide to finding resources and construction materials for those interested in the green energy and building movement. It is specifically tailored for the resources of Central Massachusetts.
