Abstract
Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA) of the sodium content of fingerprints offered a unique method of obtaining identifiable fingerprints deposited on paper, then covered with soot, where standard methods fail. Due to the minute quantity of sodium present in a fingerprint and the large quantity present in paper, this was shown not to be a feasible method. A broad range of other related work was done.
