Abstract
Photo voltaic generators and fuel cells have optimum operating conditions in which maximum power is transferred. This work established the conditions for maximum power transfer between a source and load. A closed loop switching controller that matched an arbitrary source to an arbitrary load was designed and tested. Two designs are proposed. First an analog system that was simulated and built. Second a digital system that was evaluated by means of simulation.
