Abstract

Piper Aircraft Company has a critical three-year opportunity to meet their parent company's requirements. We created a Balanced Scorecard that Piper can implement to align their departmental goals and link their strategic objectives with the long-term targets set by their parent company, American Capital. Once integrated into Piper's management structure, the Balanced Scorecard system is expected to facilitate the company's strategic goal of improving efficiency and increasing profitability over the next three years.
