Abstract

The City of Worcester's Department of Public Works requested an online request system be built to imitate their internal call center service request processes. With the support of the Technical Services Department, the project team designed and implemented a new web-based system, which allows citizens to submit requests for public works services online. The technologies used were Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, Microsoft FrontPage, and SQL Server 2000.
