Abstract

The improved technology in digital signal processors and microcontrollers has made new digital guitar effect processors powerful and easy to use. However, despite their numerous advantages, many musicians believe that high quality analog effects sound far superior when compared to their digital counterparts. The goal of this MQP is to continue and attempt to complete the work begun on incorporating the advantages of digital effect processors while maintaining the guitar signal in the analog domain.
