The objective of this project was to reengineer the Documentation Process in Morgan Stanley's Prime Brokerage Department. In order to achieve this goal, extensive data gathering was completed, including interviews, job shadowing, work-sampling matrices, process map and organizational chart development, software demos, and email breakdown. The resulting analysis provided the basis for a set of recommended solutions including implementation of the WorkQ computer application, and reeducation and reorganization of employees. A 7-step action plan for implementation of those solutions was also developed.
