Abstract

The purpose of this MQP was to construct a wireless fencing scoring system. The current electric scoring system tethers the fencers to a central scoring box and hinders their movements. Replacing the wires with wireless transceivers will free the fencers from two dimensional combat and return fencing to the way it was meant to be played (in three dimensions). The system was designed and constructed using a combination of work from previous MQP and original ideas.
