This project analyzes how variables in the packaging process affect the rate of oxygen ingress of bottled beer at Wachusett Brewing Company. I designed and conducted an experiment testing dissolved oxygen in bottles over time. Through research and results, I verified Wachusett Brewing Company's current packaging process is effective at creating an oxygen barrier between bottled beer and the atmosphere. However, I identified the need for further experimentation among different types of bottle caps to ensure cost effectiveness.
