This project involved the design of an embedded system for a urea monitoring biosensor, which will be used in conjunction with a WPI Ph.D. dissertation. The project incorporated market research for an optimal PC solution, creation of a keypad interface, as well as the hardware construction of the overall system. The team examined the overall performance of the selected embedded system, and determined that the requirements of size reduction, development cost, processing power, and upgrade flexibility were met.
