This project responds to a current debate in Audio Engineering regarding the quality of personal computer (PC) audio systems and how it is measured. By implementing current techniques used in Audio Engineering, the impulse and frequency responses of PC audio systems are found, allowing for acoustic integrity analysis. Acoustic measurement techniques used in this project to create an automated test system include Maximum Length Sequence (MLS) test signals, the Fast Hadamard Transform (FHT) and the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT).
