This senior capstone project focused on reengineering the Human Resource Department of a major metropolitan hospital located in Gardner, Massachusetts. Heywood Hospital is focused on becoming a world class hospital and an industry benchmark. Through statistical, time value, and cost/benefit analysis we were able to identify process constraints in order to improve process times and eliminate rework while improving customer service. Additional responsibilities included working side by side with Heywood's executive management and providing multiple recommendations for future development through technology and continuous improvement.
