Abstract

The maintenance of extit{C. elegans} is both time-consuming and labor-intensive. The purpose of this MQP was to develop a 3D gel environment and an automated system to reduce the labor involved in the culture of extit{C. elegans} and address other common issues such as cross contamination of strains, unequal food distribution, and fungal or bacterial contamination to ensure a more homogenous testing population.
