"This invention relates to rocket apparatus of the magazine type in which separate charges of explosive material are successively introduced into a comparatively small combustion chamber in which each is exploded to propel the apparatus through the air. Devices of this character are shown in my prior Patent No. 1103503, granted to me July 14, 1914, and also in my copending application Serial No. 60,240, filed November 8, 1915."
